Pamper Night

Hello Internet,

Today I am talking about how to pamper yourself.
Being a teenager is stressful so we need too wind our body down and relax sometimes. So, here are my tips to having a good pamper night:

  • First, you should have a nice, long, hot bath, read a book or magazine in it. Having a bath will help relax the muscles in your body.

  • Secondly, you should put on some clean PJ's and fluffy socks, this will make you feel refreshed and comfy.

  • Next you need to head to your kitchen and pull out your favourite mug. You should make your favourite drink, whether it's hot chocolate or herbal tea. Preferably not something with a lot of caffeine because it wont help you to relax.

  • Then, you should whip out your favourite face mask, it will help to clear your skin of spots (If you need other spot removal techniques then check out my other post 'Pesky Spots').

  • Soon after applying your face mask you should light your favourite scented candle, to fill your room with the beautiful sent.

  • After that you could paint your nails. You could do a plain colour or a patterned design, I like painting my nails because you can personalise it in anyway way you want and its relaxing.

  • Lastly, you should watch a film, listen to music or read a book. Or do anything you like, until you get tired.

These are the steps to a perfect pamper night! I hope this helps you when you have your next pamper night! Also, could you please comment suggestions on what to post as I am running out of ideas. And I would also like to thank Teenage Blogger Central for advertising my blog, I have been getting some more viewers since then. To check them out Click Here.

Bye for now... x

Tip: Curl your eyelashes before putting mascara on because it helps their shape hold better.

Pesky Spots

Hello Internet,

Though out my few years of being a teenager I have realised that one of the biggest symptoms to being a teenager is spots. So, I thought I would share my tips and tricks to rid your skin of those pesky spots.

Firstly, a good way to prevent spots is by having a good skin care routine. Rumour says you need loads of lotions and potions but I have realised you don't.

My Skin Care:

For my everyday face wash I use Nivea's Daily Essentials 2 in 1 Cleanser & Toner, I find this face wash is really good because it clears my skin of oil and dirt and is also moisturising. Therefore, I don't use moisturiser because my skin is already quite oily, even though people say you should. I find that moisturising cream blocks my pours. But, if you have dry skin I would recommend Nivea's Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream, it moisturises your skin without making it too oily but it does make it feel a tiny bit sticky when first applied. Every other day I use Nivea's Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Scrub, it helps remove dead skin cells and blackheads and keeps your skin feeling smooth.

But, how do you get rid of spots you ask? Well...

I find that a good way to remove blackheads is with a face mask, Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks are really good because they are only £1 and there is enough for 2 uses in one packet and it removes the majority of my blackhead. You should use once every week for best results

However, white heads are a different situation. To remove a white head (I know this sounds gross) but I pop it, I know right... eww! But to be honest it gets rid of them. But you could also use a soothing face mask or ice to minimise the size and redness.

Other Tips To Avoid Face Demons:
  • Wash your face 2 times a day, morning (for a fresh start) and night (because your body repairs at night and will release oils so washing it helps open your pours)
  • Avoid touching your face through out the day, so you don't spread dirt and bacteria from your hands to face.
  • Don't put loads of make up over spots, because it will clog up your pours even more.
But, having spots is just a teenage phase it will pass when your body has fully developed. Everyone has or had spots so if you have spots don't worry about them to much because you're perfect the way you are!

DISCLAIMER: I am not being sponsored by these companies, and these things work on my skin type so they might not work on yours (I have oily to combination skin)

Bye for now... x

Tip: Apply 2 thin coats of nail polish rather than 1 thick coat, it helps it dry quicker.

Hello Internet

Hello Internet,

I thought I would start my first post as a little introduction to my blog.

I was inspired by Zoella's new book (Girl Online) to write a blog, and i decided i would start in 2015. My blog is about teenage life and other stuff and I'll also include a tip at the end of each post.

I have called my blog Teenage Symptoms because everything i write about is related to being a teenager, so basically my posts are the symptoms of being a teenager!

I will keep my blog anonymous, because i will be able to share my thought and feeling more confidently.

I hope you enjoy my blog, and I would love if you commented suggestions on other posts you would like me to write!

Bye for now... x

Tip: After applying lipstick blot your lips with a little bit of tissue to stop the lipstick going onto your teeth.
